Driving Test Cancellations Near Carndonagh: Check Waiting Times

For an earlier driving test near Carndonagh, Buncrana and Letterkenny are the two Donegal venues compared here. Check their published invitation figures below and choose the centres that suit your preparation. Notify can then email you when a matching earlier date is found, so you can stay informed without watching MyRoadSafety all day.

Choose between Buncrana and Letterkenny

Buncrana is the nearby option many Carndonagh learners will want to compare first, while Letterkenny may fit people whose lessons or support arrangements already extend there. Both are Donegal venues, but that does not mean one centre suits everyone in Inishowen. The useful shortlist reflects where you can practise, which instructor can support you and where a suitable test car can be arranged.

Before setting up alerts, discuss your chosen venue with your instructor and confirm the test vehicle and attendance plan. If your first choice has no suitable date, the RSA says you may try another centre; see its application guidance and current centre directory.

The RSA invitation series available through CSO estimates time to an invitation, rather than an appointment date.

Set up Notify and follow the email

Open the Buncrana cancellation service for more about monitoring that centre. Use it to compare those options before finalising your Notify shortlist. Choose Buncrana, Letterkenny or both if you could use each centre, then set your earliest acceptable date and day preferences. Select Notify, complete checkout and finish the monitoring setup. Your centre, date and day choices help keep the search relevant to appointments you could consider. When a match is found, follow the email to MyRoadSafety to review the date. This gives you a clear way to keep up with suitable opportunities without repeatedly checking the booking screen.

For some learners Buncrana will be the only practical selection; others may be able to include Letterkenny as well. Choose based on your own practice and arrangements, rather than assuming that every Inishowen learner should use the same venue. Optional AutoBook is for people who already have a booked test and have authorised the service to act for them.
