Driving Test Cancellations Near Carnew: Check Waiting Times

Looking for an earlier driving test near Carnew? Compare Gorey, Carlow and Wexford in the checker below, then set up Notify email alerts for cancellations at venues that work for you.

A south-Wicklow shortlist

Gorey is the nearby option in County Wexford, with Carlow and Wexford offering two other directions to consider. They are optional centres, not assigned destinations for someone living in Wicklow. Talk with your instructor about whether they can support practice at each venue and whether your test car can be there on the day. A wider search can be useful only when the extra centres fit your preparation and schedule.

Applicants may consider another test centre when suitable appointments are not available at their preferred choice, according to RSA guidance. Check current centre information and vehicle categories in the RSA centre directory and MyRoadSafety before selecting. Our Gorey cancellations page is a sensible starting point if that is the most workable of your options.

The published RSA figures estimate the wait to receive a driving test invitation. See the CSO ROA36 series for the measure.

Notify sends email alerts when earlier opportunities appear at the centre or centres you select. You can sign up whether you have an existing booking or are still looking for a date. If an alert arrives, you can decide whether its timing and venue suit. Keep an eye on your registered email and make your choices in advance, so you know which centres you could genuinely attend if a slot becomes available.

Setting up useful email alerts

Set your alert choices according to the dates you could accept and the centres you would attend. Use an email address you can check promptly, and make sure you can access it when arranging a change. An alert is a prompt to review an opportunity, not a booking confirmation. If you decide to take a slot, confirm the details through the official booking system before changing other plans. For more information about the service, visit the Irish Driving Tests homepage.

When an earlier date is offered, verify that it works before confirming a change through the official route. If you already have a test booked, keep it until a replacement appointment is confirmed. The goal is a suitable earlier test, not simply the earliest-looking option.
