Choose email Notify for Wilton when you want to review a matching earlier appointment before changing the booking. Consider optional AutoBook only when the acceptable dates, centre and car arrangement are already agreed. Both choices support a search; neither guarantees an appointment or removes official eligibility requirements.

The Wilton Cork monitoring page is the local service route. This guide helps you choose how a match should be handled rather than selecting a plan from its name alone.

Decide how much review you want

Some learners want to inspect the centre, date and time personally before making any change. Others have a settled appointment plan and are comfortable authorising a matching change within it. Those are different preferences.

Premium provides email Notify for up to three selected centres. When a matching opportunity is found, you receive it by email and manage the official change yourself. This suits someone who wants the final decision before moving an existing test.

Premium Plus supports up to five centres and optional AutoBook for authorised matching changes. Consider it when the saved preferences already represent appointments you can take. It is not a way to resolve uncertainty about whether a date might suit your instructor.

Keep Wilton separate from other Cork labels

Use the RSA directory and MyRoadSafety to check the official centre for your licence category. For a booked appointment, follow the venue and instructions in its confirmation. A broad Cork search result does not identify the exact appointment.

Wilton and Togher should be treated as separate choices. If you include Togher monitoring, assess its car and preparation arrangement rather than assuming the two venues are interchangeable.

Do not select another Cork name without checking that it offers the relevant category. Older official tables can provide historical context but do not establish current car-test availability at every named centre. Use the current official options.

Agree the test car before choosing dates

Ask your instructor which Wilton appointments they can support and what preparation they recommend. An ordinary lesson gap does not necessarily mean the intended vehicle is available for the full test arrangement.

If you use a family car, check suitability under the official requirements and agree the accompanying driver. Include collection, the journey and return. A personally free day is not enough if the vehicle or support is unavailable.

This agreement matters especially for an authorised automatic change. Saved dates should be appointments you can take without a new permission discussion. If that is not yet clear, settle it before choosing the response method.

Set an earlier window that makes sense

Check permit validity, recorded training and any applicable holding period through RSA guidance. A cancellation appointment does not waive those conditions. Set the earliest date to when you are eligible, prepared and able to attend.

Compare it with the test currently booked. A useful replacement must fall before that appointment. If the first day you can attend comes afterwards, resolve the conflict before paying for earlier-date monitoring.

Save genuine restrictions around work, college and car access. Broad settings are not useful when most matches would be rejected. Accurate dates help whichever response method you choose.

Use extra centres only when they are practical

A plan's centre allowance is a maximum, not a target. You can monitor Wilton alone if that is where your arrangements work. More selected centres do not guarantee a quicker appointment.

If Togher is practical, ask what preparation would be sensible and whether the car can be supplied there. A backup deserves a place because you could use it, not because filling the list seems more thorough.

Review the preferences when circumstances change. A newly available car can make another venue useful, while a work commitment can remove a date. Keep the authorisation tied to your actual arrangement.

Know what the one-time payment covers

The current plan prices appear in the selector. The payment is for monitoring, separate from the RSA test fee. You are not buying an appointment, queue priority or a guarantee that every possible date will remain available.

A Notify email identifies a found match but does not reserve it. Optional AutoBook concerns authorised matching changes, not appointments outside the preferences you have agreed. Read the current service terms before paying so that distinction is clear.

Use an email address you check and make sure your MyRoadSafety sign-in is available. Account access and correct contact details are practical preparation, whichever plan you choose.

Complete the replacement through the official process

Keep a useful existing appointment until the replacement is officially confirmed. Read the RSA's current rescheduling rules, including possible limits and fees. Cancelling first is not necessary simply to begin looking.

Save a successful replacement confirmation and update the instructor or accompanying driver. Check the centre, date, time and actual venue, particularly if the search included several Cork options. The useful result is an earlier appointment you can attend prepared.
